If it has to do with computers, we can do it. We wrote our first book on integrating PCs and Unix - basically what became the internet, years before Al Gore invented the Internet! Seriously though, our background is PC and Unix networking. We specialize in those jobs that all the other computer consultants, the geek squad and others give up on.
In 1994 we started iT Business Consulting working primarily with companies in California and Minnesota. Things have changed a lot over the past 20 years and so have we! That’s why we changed our name to Apollo Beach Internet. Not only do we build networks, design and implement sales force automation, help businesses get the best utilizations from their computers, we also provide website design and web hosting.
Our philosophy is that a computer is merely a tool to help a business be successful. If you’re spending more time getting your system to work right and less time selling your product or service there’s something wrong! Whether you have an existing site you just want spruced up, need a simple site or want something completely custom, we have the skills and expertise to make it happen. Most of our customers go with a variation of one of our many template site designs which we customize to match their needs. The main reason is cost.
If you are thinking about switching hosting providers or looking for a new web designer, there are a few questions you may want to ask -

Do I have the options to move my site and make changes to my site?

At Apollo Beach Internet, we want our customers to be happy and satisfied, we never hold a site hostage and you are always free to host your site anywhere. We like to host on our servers and feel we have the best prices and convenience, but we also understand that you may have a relationship with your current hosting provider and we are happy to work with them. About a third of our customers host with us due to their original sites being hosted elsewhere. Also - we are happy to work with your existing web designer to handle those things they are able to do or get stuck on. If you have someone in house who knows just enough to be dangerous, we will also work with them to do the layouts and formatting and they can enter in the content, photos, etc.

Computer, Networking and Security Consulting Services

This where we really excel! We have worked with several major corporations and have the expertise to build your network and computer systems. We are Microsoft Certified and have experience with Windows Servers, Exchange, SQL, Linux, SCO Unix, IBM AIX, Cisco and Juniper firewall, Virtual Private Networking (VPNs) and various means of remote access. We won't kid you, we are the guys who deal with the problems the other give up on. A good example is work with did with the Minnesota Department of the Treasury. They had serious network problems and had nightmares getting their PCS to work with thier IBM AIX unix servers. After several other consultants "left for lunch" and never returned, we can in and got everything up and running. Several of our original Windows NT 4 network servers are still being used today - and that shocked even us! We recently contacted some customers from 10 years ago just to see how things were going and they are still using the mail and app servers we built for them!
